K-5 offers Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish, and Technology. There is also a Gifted and Talented component for students in grades 3-5. The 6-8 programs consist of Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Technology, Mathematics, including Algebra, Art, Music, Physical Education, and Spanish. There is also a Gifted and Talented option for the Middle Grades.
We realize that as young people move through their high school years they are faced with many career choices. Connections Learning provides 9-12 students with different opportunities to take elective courses in possible fields of interest. While they will obtain the basic courses required for entrance into college, students can also take over 15 Advanced Placement courses, 7 different languages, introduction courses to a wide variety of career path choices, and numerous computer technology courses. Providing quality home instruction for these advanced level courses can be challenging for parents. NOVA also provides courses for college credit for qualifying students.
